Our Journey
It began quietly in the year 2013, beneath the ordinary rhythm of university life. Yet, at the time, they were merely two souls moving in parallel—acquainted, but distant. Their days were filled with separate dreams, separate struggles, and separate journeys. Years passed before life gently crossed their paths once more. They met again at an event called Pemuda Advent Pecinta Alam (PAPA), What began as a simple reunion slowly unfolded into something warmer and far more meaningful. They shared stories that had been left untold for years, laughter that erased the distance of time, and moments that felt strangely familiar, as though their hearts had remembered each other long before they did.
Throughout the year 2024, their bond deepened with each passing day. Conversations became longer, silences became softer, and their hearts slowly learned to rest in one another’s presence. What once was friendship transformed into a connection filled with understanding, trust, and peace.
In each other, they found a place called home.
Together they discovered joy in the simplest moments and strength in the most uncertain ones. The more they learned about one another, the more certain they became that their lives were no longer meant to walk separate roads.
And so, with sincere hearts and hopeful dreams, they chose to say yes—yes to commitment, yes to a future together, and yes to the sacred journey that would lead them toward marriage.
After a long journey of growing, waiting, and believing, the year 2026 finally arrived with a beautiful new beginning. They became engaged and began preparing for the day they would unite their lives as one.
Through every season, they came to understand that God had been guiding their story all along. His plans were never accidental, but carefully written with love and grace. What was once divided would no longer remain apart. Now, they step forward together—not as two separate lives, but as one heart joined in love, trust, and faithfulness. Hand in hand, they walk toward forever, carrying the promise to remain beside one another through every joy and every storm. And in that promise, they found not only each other, but also the beautiful future God had prepared for them all along.
